Our project "Big Data to solve Big problems" focused on innovative and cutting-edge information technologies such as big data, machine learning and artificial intelligence and their applications in solving challenges faced by our societies. We invited 42 youngsters ages 18-26 from Greece, Turkey, Italy, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Poland to the beautiful village in Southern Poland - Murzasichle. The youth exchange took place between 6 - 13 October, whereas APV took place on 21/22 September of 2019. The project was a great chance to increase awareness regarding cutting edge technologies, inspired youth to come up with new applications of this technology. During our project youth had a chance to find out about educational platforms on which they will be able to further increase their knowledge in machine learning, AI and Big Data. The youth that participated in our project was truly interested in gaining knowledge in machine learning, AI and Big Data. It is worth mentioning that the youth from Czechia studies artificial intelligence and shared much inspiring information with the rest of the group. Furthermore, two participants were also Ph.D. students and led interactive workshops that brought 'intelligent' algorithms closer to our participants. Our youth arrived fully prepared for the workshops and participated actively in the whole program. The project was also a great chance to become acquainted with foreign cultures and to meet new friends.
