The project "Smart Cities: From Vision to Action" took place in Poland, Murzasichle, on 25.10-01.11.2025.
The main goal of the project was to help participants understand the concept of smart cities and gain practical skills to become active “architects of change” in their communities. During the workshops, participants learned about key concepts such as the Internet of Things, Big Data, and sustainable transport. They discussed the benefits and risks of smart city development, including privacy concerns and digital exclusion. Participants worked in groups to create creative solutions for urban challenges like traffic and pollution by building models and participating in debates. The workshops also included sessions on ecology and innovation, showing how technology can help make cities more sustainable. The project emphasized teamwork and practical learning, and the results—such as presentations, debate recordings, and smart city models—were presented during a virtual meeting with youth organizations
