Our project 'The legend of united Europe' took place between October 17-24, 2021 in Murzasichle one of the most picturesque regions of Poland. We invited young people aged 18-25 from friendly organizations from Lithuania, Greece, Italy, and, of course, young people from our foundation to our project.

Based on the discussions and reflections of youth from Greece, Italy, Lithuania, and Poland we would like to gain a deeper understanding of the universal truths and values are hidden in various legends and myths from different European countries. By realization of workshops focusing on the staging of myths and legends based on deep reflections, workshops on creative writing and creative thinking, the practice of the best practices of effective storytelling, the youth working in international groups will build the foundation for the legend of united Europe. The legend will relate to the most fundamental values and goals of the European Community. By realization of our key goal, we will be able to fulfill some crucial goals of the Erasmus+, and, in particular:

1. Increase in language skills (English as a formal language of our project);
2. Increase in the competencies related to creative thinking, creative writing, and becoming familiar with best practices in storytelling as an effective communication tool;
3. Promotion of participation in democratic life;
4. Counteracting social exclusion and promoting social solidarity;
5. Increase in the quality of youth projects.

The main goals of the project are strengthening identity, feeling of being European, building European awareness, acquiring knowledge about Europe. The method of achieving these goals will be the legend of a united Europe. In the implementation of our activities, we will rely on non-formal and formal learning methods, such as theater productions, discussions, workshops based on creative thinking methods, discussions, mini-theater performances, intercultural evenings, group and games, etc.

Thanks to our common working method, i.e. the legend of a united Europe, participants will receive an answer to the question of what are the key values for our continent. These thoughts will find their illustration in the legend of a united Europe. Thus, we will address the key expectations of our youth, for whom it is interesting stories with a moral that is the most effective carrier of ideas.
